Bad news

Just when you think that life is going in the direction you set, that the wind is at your heels and the sun is shining on your face when the gods out there decided to offer something different.

The bad news I have had is about my health and I am still coming to terms with what this means. As a writer, it’s probably good news, because I can no longer do the sport I love so that gives me more time to write. More importantly, I am forced to really think about my own mortality…I am well known for my quote that life can turn on a sixpence… but that was when I was talking hypothetically…now I am confronted with the reality and in these early days, it’s hard.

I am nothing if not optimistic and it is as it is

Please though, I want time to finish the sequel and write my autobiography and hit the mid 80’s!!
