Sequel

I am nearly finished the first draft of the sequel to “Reasons” and writing this has been a very different experience. I have taken note the what readers liked in the first book and continued with this,but adding what I think is more depth and character and also challenging expectations. I am hitting on a few social themes and hinting at the beginning of ones to come. I know that what I have written now and my next draft, will be different. What I love most of all at the stage is the what next…sometimes i dont know and then the characters refuse to do with what I expect..so I almost feel like the reader wondering whats going to happen. Its hugely unpredictable, scary and exciting…which is how I want to the book to be.
