The Glasgow Smile now being edited

A few weeks ago, the manuscript was handed in for review and editing and this process will take some time. This is the part where the writer has a break ( well deserved  I might add) and hands her baby over to her agent.  I have had a second look at the script and made some changes. Some time away allows the writer to see gaps and anomalies, where  a better word could be used, maybe a time frame may be out, or a deeper dive into a character needs to take place. This is where I start to see the story gleam….and I become part writer, part reader….and a huge critic.  I know what I want to see and will know when the editing has ended as the story will be like polished gold!!.In the meantime, my fingers need a much needed break………but without writing each day…help…..I feel lost!!
