waiting and what I am doing while waiting

By the time I sent the final manuscript of The Glasgow Smile to my agent..my fingers and hands were quite swollen and painful..sadly, a result of the perils of ageing combined with a hours and hours of typing. I thought a break would be ideal…just a month and guess what…two weeks later, all I could think about was a plot idea that had been stewing away in the background and so I started book number three.

Just as I was getting into some serious thinking, I come down with Covid. So here I am, befuddled and feeling like a punch bag typing this update. f I hadnt had the vaccines, I cant imagine how I would be feeling now. I also muse on how many future novels will feature Covid….along with isolation, its a great alibi!!!
