Another year over and I swear the time gods have sped up the eternal clock…
Sequel
I have started a sequel to “Reasons” and never having done a sequel before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. On the one hand, I thought that I would write better, and having learned quite a few new technical things, but a sequel is more than just a continuation and I wanted to make this novel, deeper, better and more interesting that the first. Therein lies he rub. Can I do this? In my last novel, refugees, borders, humanitarian work all features and for many readers this was a new experience and understanding. This novel is set in Australia and within a limited area.I hark back to my writitng guru, PD James who always talks about setting being critical to any story so I am really pleased that I have placed part of the story in a very interesting location. Watch this space.
