Christchurch Book Launch

It was a great night at the Tai Tapu pub for the Christchurch launch of the Glasgow Smile. I don’t know that many people down in my old home town any more but it was a great turn out. There was a lot of reconnecting of old friends, trips down memory lane and so many old stories traded and wonderful laughs. One of my old primary school friends turned up…Phillip McDonell, fifty years at least since we last met and the years just tumbled away…I also met one man who said I went out with him a couple of times in my 20’s…but sadly, I cant remember.  The atmosphere in the room was bounding with merriment , camaraderie and support.. I couldnt have asked for anything better.

I’d like to offer a big thank you to my oldest friend Cathy Milne and her husband Kevin ..the MC and Abbe their daughter,.,chief photographer and all round arranger..they were just brilliant and the evening wouldn’t have gone off with such a bang had they not helped me.

Abbe also found that my first book, For Reasons of their Own was now available on audible…surprised me!!

So now onto the Wellington Launch…and looking forward to that.
